Double Points! but not double participation Great turn out for our final point race in Redlands! A hot and breezy all day turned into night with 90 riders in the Open.. Julie Martindale took the buckle, cash and year end 1D win with a 16.0. Thanks to everyone who helped out with the jobs required to run a race! We strive to make sure that the ground is consistent and fair for all riders.   Since we run out of different arenas each race this makes it difficult at times as we must work with Ranch owners, different ground types and various equipment to make it all work together. Check out your pics at Jack Upton Photo!   NOV 3 RACE ANNOUNCEMENT At our last race on November 3, we encountered safety issues with the ground, as well as some timer malfuctions on a re-ride.  Due to several complaints that were brought forth by some of our members, the board members and RCBR's advisory board met on Nov 6 and discussed the events that transpired that day.   It was decided that Rider #51 will keep their time from their first run and dismiss all re-runs that followed including the substitution run.  Results & points have been adjusted to reflect this and additional winnings (if any) will be distributed according.     RCBR takes the safety of you as a rider very seriously, and hope you understand our position when making decisions relating to ground safety. We make every effort to make the ground the best it can be with the resources we have.   Equally important to us, is to run a race fairly for everyone involved.    If you have any questions regarding this, please contact us.   We would like to thank everyone who has supported the club this year, both riders and sponsors, and we look forward to a great 2008 year!!
